La Marseillaise des Femmes, a free spirit in a healthy body

The "Marseillaise des Femmes" is an opportunity for women to run together for a good cause. This year, the event aims to gather 7,000 participants at the starting line. There's also a race for youth aged 10 to 15 to let off steam!

THE RACES : LA MARSEILLAISE DES FEMMES AND MINI-MARSEILLAISES

On May 22nd, the day of the La Marseillaise des Femmes race, a collective warm-up will be organized in the Village starting at 8:15 AM. At 9:00 AM, the starting signal will sound at Avenue Parc Borély! Runners will start their course, followed by walkers. To encourage you, musical entertainment will be set up along the route, and refreshment stations will be available.

THREE CHALLENGES ALSO PROPOSED, ARE YOU GAME?

For the mother-daughter(s) challenge, you need a mom and one or more daughters in the same team… and the winning recipe is ready! The ranking is calculated by averaging the team members' times. But above all, it's an opportunity to run as a family. Even Pascal the big brother couldn't have found a better idea.

For the friends challenge, form a team of 2 to 6 friends. The ranking will be based on the average times of the team members. The advantage: enjoying music and being with friends somewhere other than in a nightclub.

Do you want to challenge your boss to run? Propose the company challenge. Assemble your team of at least 5 colleagues. Two trophies will reward the teams: the "Best Time Company Trophy" which calculates the average time of each runner and walker; the "Marseillaise Women's Company Trophy" which crowns the company with the highest number of participants crossing the finish line.

MINI-MARSEILLAISES DE PROVENCE

The "Mini-Marseillaises de Provence" is a running competition for girls aged 10 to 15. Attention to the Maxi-Motivated, you can let off steam at this running event on Saturday, May 21st at Parc Borély. The "Poussines" can burn energy on a non-timed 1.2km race, the "Benjamines" on a timed 1.5km race, and the "Minimes" on a timed 3km race. Registration must be completed via this link before May 18th at midnight. Online registration is free. A €2 fee will be required for bib collection at Parc Borély, with half going to Amnesty International and the other half to the Foundation for Medical Research.

THE RACE VILLAGE FOR PREPARATION AND RELAXATION

The race village (of the Amazons, dare I say?) will welcome runners and offer many activities. It will be set up at Parc Borély from May 20th starting at noon until Sunday, May 22nd. At the village, you can enjoy activities starting from May 20th. On the agenda: Ashtanga Yoga sessions, Swedish Gym, and a sportswear fashion show. Children can enjoy multiple activities: pony rides, climbing wall, inflatables, Slackline, urban stilts, BMX, and Parkour. Training sessions: women who are not registered can also attend training sessions. There will be two sessions scheduled on Saturdays, April 30th and May 14th at Parc Borély. Participants can pick up their bib and welcome bag for free. Note, on Sunday, only those who have chosen the paid "last-minute collection" option can pick up their bib.
