The idea is brilliant, and so is the result. The Carrières de Lumières showcase some of the world's greatest artists through projections on the walls and floors of the Carrières. These unique multimedia shows are a delight for young and old alike. An experience for all the family and friends. The site has become a not-to-be-missed rendezvous for art lovers.
For the past 4 years, the site has been attracting the attention of tourists who love grandiose shows. Thanks to the AMIES (Art & Music Immersive Experience) concept, based on the latest video and spatial sound technologies, each exhibition is broadcast to the rhythm of the music, following a precise scenario.
LES CARRIÈRES DE LUMIÈRES IN FIGURES
In just 2 years, the sound and light shows have been seen by 612,000 visitors. Projections take place over 7,000m², at heights of up to 14 metres, and the show lasts 35 minutes. 100 video projectors and 27 loudspeakers are required for such an immersive experience.
