Starting Point of the Walk : Niolon Fort

To follow this circuit, you will need to start from Niolon. You can get there by taking the Blue Coast train from Marseille. This train line alone is worth it and will offer you breathtaking views of the Marseille coast and its calanques. Discover Niolon Fort, composed of a set of French military batteries from the 1860s. To access it, you can follow the path towards "Le Jonquier." The walk in the hill is easy to access and enjoyable. Niolon Fort offers a clear and simply stunning view of Marseille's harbor. Don't forget your camera!

CALANQUE DE L’EREVINE

After this visit, resume your walk to reach Calanque de l’Érevine. For the most motivated, you can take a detour to discover Vallon de l’Éverine. Located between Méhean and Niolon, it is, for calanques enthusiasts, the most beautiful cove on the Blue Coast. Be careful when descending to the Calanque, as it is difficult to access due to the steep slope and dazzling rocks that can surprise some visitors. Far from the hustle and bustle of Marseille's beaches, this little haven of peace is worth a visit!

A WALK WITH A SEA VIEW

This circuit will allow you to stroll around Marseille while enjoying views of the sea. If you prefer to get there by sea, nothing stops you from renting a boat and sailing to the calanque. Restaurants with beach views are clustered in the center of Niolon and will allow you to dine after this walk.
