It is therefore aimed at all audiences, from seasoned hikers to families with children, long-distance walkers, or those who want to return home in the evening.

EQUIPMENT TO PRIORITIZE FOR HIKES IN PROVENCE
Hiking requires preparation. So here are a few tips to best prepare for your hike in the calanques. Wear closed shoes that support your feet well to avoid sprains. Never leave without water, a hat, and a snack. It is also important to inform people in your circle about the hiking trail you have chosen to follow. For longer excursions, you can rent hiking equipment such as a tent, stoves…
You can also choose to rent mountain bikes or why not a boat to discover the calanques. It's a different way to explore the coast.
In the calanques of the National Park, you can have lunch in one of the many seaside restaurants. Plan to book before you go, especially on weekends or during the summer when you won't be the only ones wanting to stop there.
SUNSTROKE : A TOO FREQUENT ACCIDENT
Avoiding or detecting sunstroke is fundamental when trekking. Especially in high mountains, you don't really feel the heat of the sun, and when there is wind either, which is common in the South. So remember to protect your head well, to wet your hair frequently, and above all to favor routes in the shade, in the undergrowth, especially in summer when temperatures rise.
You also need to drink a lot and think about equipping yourself properly. In the evening, it is often cooler. Again, you will need to plan your hike well to have what you need to stay warm and avoid hypothermia, which can be deadly.
Knowledge of the weather is also essential to anticipate any change in weather if you plan a hiking trip. A storm can arrive quickly, temperatures can drop quickly, the wind can pick up…
