Sainte Croix Beach

plage sainte croix

This sandy beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the vicinity of Marseille.

SAINTE CROIX BEACH IN MARTIGUES

martigues la couronne

Located between Sausset-les-Pins and Martigues, it is perfectly suited for families with children. It is supervised during the summer period, and its waters are shallow.

Sainte Croix Beach offers an idyllic setting with its very clean turquoise waters and its beach surrounded by pine trees, providing shaded areas that are very appreciated in summer. With a length of 100 meters and a width of 40 meters, it is the perfect setting for a family picnic. Adding to this idyllic landscape is a small white chapel.

It has showers and toilets, and its parking lot makes it easily accessible. However, please note that parking is paid in the summer.

And if you fancy an ice cream, the nearby restaurants will make you happy.

AROUND SAINTE CROIX BEACH

The beach is crossed by a coastal path, the "chemin du four à chaux" (lime kiln path). By the way, if you're a fan of Camping Paradis, take a walk to Saulce Beach. The two beaches are separated by a rock. In addition to the magnificent landscape, Saulce Beach serves as the backdrop for the series. It is shorter but wider than its neighbor and is easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. Don't hesitate to visit.

However, like all the beautiful beaches along the Marseille coastline, Sainte Croix Beach is very popular, and in the summer, the beach is crowded! So plan to arrive early to enjoy the morning calm.
