Baumettes Beach
It is one of the widest beaches in Sausset les Pins. Baumettes Beach is located to the east, towards Carry le Rouet. It is composed of sand and small pebbles. There is free parking available, but due to the summer crowds, it is advisable to arrive early to ensure a spot. One advantage of this beach is that it has access for people with reduced mobility. You can also enjoy dining with a view of the sea.
Four à Chaux Beach
Located on the road between Sausset les Pins and La Couronne along the seaside, Four à Chaux Beach is very popular and crowded during the summer season. To access it, you'll need to descend a small staircase leading to this small pebble cove. There is free parking available.
Petit Nid Beach
This small pebble beach is located in the bay of Petit Nid, towards La Couronne. It is especially appreciated during windy weather as it is sheltered. It is a favorite spot for sea urchin enthusiasts. The beach has public showers and free parking.
Grand Rouveau Beach
In the bay of Grand Rouveau, you'll find this small pebble beach. It is accessible via the residential area, through a small path that descends to the beach via stairs. Don't be surprised, this beach is often covered with a layer of seagrass. Nearby, you'll find a small parking lot on the Corniche Promenade.
Corniche Beach
Corniche Beach is located in the center of Sausset les Pins. It consists of both sand and pebbles. On-site, you'll have all amenities: showers, toilets, first aid station, beachfront restaurants, a private beach area, and access for people with reduced mobility.
Port Beach
Located just after the port, towards La Couronne, this pebble beach is very rocky. Additionally, as it is unsupervised, it is not recommended for families with children. You can park nearby using the free parking, and showers are available for rinsing off.
Grand Nid Beach
To reach it, it's simple, it is located just after Petit Nid Beach, towards La Couronne. It is a pebble beach, well protected from the wind. A parking lot and ramps for people with reduced mobility have been set up to facilitate access.
Did you know that the Blue Coast Train stops at Sausset-les-Pins? The tracks run along the coast for 32 km from Marseille to Miramas. Viaducts, tunnels, panoramas, and coves punctuate the train route, for your greatest pleasure. During your weekend in Marseille, you can take the train and enjoy the beaches of Sausset-les-Pins, or why not rent a boat or take your mask and snorkel for a diving session.
