Beaches of Corbière - L'Estaque
In the legendary neighborhood of l’Estaque are the only beaches in the northern districts. A set of three beaches that follow one another after l’Estaque. The advantage of these beaches is that they are clean even in summer, easy to access, large enough, and with a magnificent view of the entire Marseille.
THE ESTAQUE BEACH
Between swims, don't hesitate to take a stroll to the village of l’Estaque. A true source of inspiration for many artists, painters, and writers, it has also served as the setting for the film "Marius et Jeannette" by Robert Guédiguian. L’Estaque has preserved its authenticity as a Provencal village, which now contributes to its worldwide reputation.
Take a moment to stop at the port to taste the famous Chichis Frégis or panisses. Finally, step into one of the numerous restaurants to discover all the flavors of this unique neighborhood of Marseille. The port is also a meeting place for sailing enthusiasts and is also a highly reputed maritime port.
The three beaches that make up the site are all frequented by families and are therefore very friendly. They also have the clearest water in Marseille. Areas are set up for picnics and barbecues without any risks.
