Riverside hike in Les Pennes-Mirabeau
Marseille Tourism invites you to explore the surroundings of Marseille with this short hike. Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the Cadière in Les Pennes-Mirabeau. The hiking trail joins a small section of the GR2013. The source of the stream has a magical atmosphere, with water flowing from a small cave. Children will be delighted! And this river will also bring you some freshness during hot summer days.
Hiking along the Cadière in Les Pennes-Mirabeau
No special equipment is needed. Just remember to respect the place and bring something to drink 😉 The return follows the same path. For the more athletic, why not do this hiking circuit by bike? On the way back, you can stop by the Plan de Campagne Shopping Center, one of the most frequented in France. Its many shops will delight shopping fans 🙂
How to get to the starting point of the hike?
By car From Marseille (21km - 26min): Take the A55 towards Lyon and continue for 12km. Join the A7/E714 and continue for 3.1km. Take exit 30a and continue on the D113. Enter Les Pennes-Mirabeau. At the roundabout, continue straight on D113 for 1.1km. Turn left and continue for 200m. Continue straight on La Billonne for 200m. At the roundabout, continue straight on for 300m. Exit Les Pennes-Mirabeau. Turn right onto Avenue Jean Monnet. Enter Vitrolles. At the roundabout, continue straight on Avenue Jean Monnet. At the Fontblanche roundabout, turn right onto Boulevard Marcel Pagnol. Turn right onto Chemin des Pinchinades and continue for 100m.
