The Little Train of Marseille

The little train : ideal for admiring inner Marseille without getting tired. The pace of the little train allows you to take beautiful photos. You will wander through the streets of Le Panier, the Old Port, up to the Bonne Mère, but also the Frioul if you take a crossing, where a circuit awaits you. 3 circuits in total to visit the Phocaean city in peace.

LITTLE TRAIN CIRCUIT : IN THE HEART OF OLD MARSEILLE
The circuit "Little Train du Panier" takes about 1 hour and 5 minutes, including a 30-minute stop in the Panier district. It focuses on the "old" Marseille with stops at the Saint-Laurent esplanade, the Cathedral, the Vieille Charité, the Panier district, and the MuCEM. With the new developments in the Joliette district, the circuit has been extended to include a visit to the Docks, Joliette, and the Halles de la Major. From November 1st to 15th, departures are every 30 minutes from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and then from 2 pm to 6 pm.

LITTLE TRAIN TOUR : GREETINGS TO THE BONNE MÈRE

This is perhaps the most requested route by visitors, the " Notre Dame de la Garde " circuit. It must be said that it's quite a climb, and the idea of climbing the Way of the Cross in the middle of summer doesn't appeal to everyone. A circuit that doesn't just stop at the Bonne Mère, as it also passes through the Corniche Kennedy to admire Vallon des Auffes, the Frioul Islands, and the Château d'If. From April to October, departures are every 20 minutes from 10 am to 12:20 pm and from 1:40 pm to 6:20 pm. From November to March, departures are every 40 minutes or every hour and a half depending on the crowds, from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

LITTLE TRAIN FRIULI : OFF THE COAST OF MARSEILLE
The third and final circuit is on the Frioul Islands, only during the summer season from July 1st to September 1st. Visit the island without exertion, and discover the Hôpital Caroline, the Sainte Estève beach, or the Fort Ratonneau which offers a magnificent view of the Château d'If and the bay of Marseille.
