The tramway is a great way to get around the city. You avoid the stress of driving in Marseille and traffic jams, you don't pollute, and you can discover Marseille differently! In the past, Marseille had up to a hundred tram lines. Today, it has 3 lines serving 32 stations. Since 2008, it's the Régie des Transports de Marseille that manages its operation. Below, we have provided you with all the practical information you need to use the tramway in Marseille with peace of mind.

Tramway line 1

Tramway line 1 in Marseille connects the stations Noailles <> Eugène Pierre <> Camas <> George <> Jean Martin <> La Blancarde <> Sainte-Thérèse <> Saint-Pierre <> La Parette <> La Boiseraie <> Air Bel <> La Grognarde <> William Booth.

Tramway line 1 schedule:

Tramways on line 1 run every 6 to 7 minutes on weekdays, every 8 minutes on Saturdays, every 15 minutes on Sundays, and every 7 to 8 minutes during holidays. Find the schedule for your desired stop at http://www.rtm.fr/t1-noailles-les-caillols.

Tramway line 2

Tramway line T2 connects the stations Arenc Le Silo <> Euroméditerranée Gantes <> Joliette <> République Dames <> Sadi Carnot <> Belsunce Alcazar <> Canebière Capucins <> Canebière Garibaldi <> Réformés <> National <> Longchamp <> Cinq Avenues <> Foch Sakakini <> Boisson.

Tramway line 2 schedule:

Tramway line 3

Tramways on line 3 were able to enter service on May 30, 2015. Works planned for 2023 will extend this last line by 10 stations: 3 to the South, 7 to the North. Today, tramway T3 follows the same route as T2 from Arenc – Le Silo to Belsunce – Alcazar, then takes a branching and continues to Castellane. All stations on T3: Arenc – Le Silo <> Euroméditerranée – Gantès <> Joliette <> République – Dames <> Sadi Carnot <> Belsunce – Alcazar <> Cours Saint-Louis <> Rome – Davso <> Place de Rome <> Rome – Dragon <> Castellane.
